About the Success MAP Trainers:
Kevin Nott:
Kevin Nott is the founder of Profit Point LLC, a business coaching and training firm specializing in helping the worker-turned-owner develop the knowledge and skills to build a profitable business. His easy-to-understand approach to teaching business concepts has made him an effective and popular speaker, business coach and trainer.
Kevin has developed and presented numerous business training courses to over 5,000 business owners and managers. He has been a featured speaker at management seminars, workshops and conventions throughout North America. For several years, he taught business courses at a local college. His notable training clients include The American Management Association in New York City, Melon Bank in Pittsburgh, PA. and Portable Software in Redmond, WA. Kevin’s expertise includes the areas of strategic planning, marketing, accounting and production management.
Kevin has over 25 years of extensive management experience spanning several industries and functions with over 15 years' experience in the construction industry.
He is active in community and civic affairs and has served as Chairman of the Board for a credit union, Board Member for the Rocky Mountain Gas Association and has over 20 years of service as an adult leader with the Boy Scouts of America where he currently teaches other adult leaders.
Kevin holds a Masters degree in Organizational Management and Bachelors degree in Business Management and Finance.
Duane “DJ” Sprague:
Duane has over 20 years of experience in executive level agency management, marketing, advertising, PR and business development, and is a specialist in integrated marketing communication and internet marketing.
As Vice President of Advertising and Digital Media for the Larry H. Miller group of sports and entertainment companies, including the Utah Jazz, Salt Lake Bees, Megaplex Theatres, Miller Motorsports Park, LHM Advertising and more, Duane set 26 sales and profit benchmarks and broke all previous records for the in-house advertising agency that he also managed. As Manager of LHM Advertising, Duane also handled the advertising for Sahara, Liberty Homes, H&H Windows, and projects for Kennecott Land Development.
While managing his own agency with offices in Orange County California and Salt Lake City, Duane managed the advertising accounts for 3 Day Kitchen and Bath, Service Experts, CK Builders, Southam & Associates, and Water by Design, as well as projects for several residential builders, and commercial real estate brokers and managers throughout Orange County.
Duane’s professional marketing experience also includes Kodak, IBM, Lexus, Toyota, Southwestern Bell, NASCAR, J.D. Power and Associates, Hyundai, Larry H. Miller Dealerships, the Utah Flash, the Idaho Stampede, University of Utah Athletics , Citadel Communications, Rio Tinto Stadium, Technaglass, and dozens of other companies in the U.S. and Canada.
Contributed to 3 university textbooks on branding and integrated marketing, and published over 60 articles on advertising and marketing. Published the ebook “How to Build a Power Brand in Today’s Digital World with Integrated Marketing”.
