State Application Filing


This includes the preparation and processing of all paperwork required by the Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL) to obtain a contractor’s license. We constantly work with the DOPL on a day-to-day basis regarding the process of all types of contractor licensing.

This relationship allows us to know exactly what is expected on all contractor applications. We put this knowledge to work for you by ensuring that the application is processed quickly and efficiently so that the license can be obtained in a timely manner. If the DOPL requires additional information we will contact the auditor and get that information to them directly. We process all the paperwork saving you the time and hassle of dealing with the State of Utah. We will work with the auditors at the DOPL directly so that you do not have to waste time standing in line and waiting on hold. With our application filling you have a licensing expert on your side. Corporate Filing Services


This includes drafting the articles required to establish a business entity with the State of Utah. We hand deliver your articles to the Department of Commerce and will return an original stamped copy of the articles to you. Registration for the Federal Tax ID number is included with this service as well as the preparation of initial tax forms to declare your tax status with the IRS. A Corporate / LLC kit is provided to keep your company documents organized and provide the forms to properly document business activity. If needed we will assist in acquiring the State Withholding Number with the State Tax Commission and Unemployment Insurance number with the Department of Workforce Services. This service deals with all the paperwork to effectively register your business without costly attorney fees.

Registered Agent Services


This service allows you to have someone on your side dealing with your business renewal and yearly updates. We will act as your registered agent and will remind you of your yearly renewal as it comes due. If you move or change your location we will make the necessary changes with the Department of Commerce to update your business address. Our registered agent service also gives you an opportunity to be able to conduct business in Utah if you do not have a physical location in the state. We will be your agent for process of service with any subpoenas or judgments that might be served to your company. This is an extremely valuable service that lets you focus on your business and what matters to the company while we handle the rest.

Business and Law Exam Preparation


Our business and law exam preparation provides questions that will be similar to information covered during your exam. The preparation material is a self-study program that allows you to study at your own pace. Our study material gives you an outline of the business and law exam as well as practice questions and exams to ensure you are ready for your test. We provide references to your business and law book that will help you utilize your book and pass your exam the first time you have to take it. We recommend at least 8 hours of study time with our material prior to taking the exam.

Building Trade Exam Preparation


The trade exam preparation covers the information needed to pass your state trade exam. Our trade exam preparation provides questions that will be similar to information covered during your exam. The preparation material is a self-study program that allows you to study at your own pace. Our study material covers a large variety of questions relevant to your trade exam. The questions are designed to train you for the format your exam will be administered in as well the practical questions you will be asked. This material provides practice questions and exams to ensure you are ready for your test. In addition to our study material we have a library of code books that are available to assist in your exam preparation. The official trade exams will often allow you to bring relevant code books to use during your exam; we will allow you to use our books for the exam. This saves you the cost of purchasing these books. Continuing Education Training


We provide continuing education seminars to help you stay licensed and stay in business. The continuing education is required by the D.O.P.L. to renew your license. We assist contractors in establishing a presence on the internet by helping them obtain a domain name (web address) for their business’ website. We register and thereby protect the domain name for the contractor. Contractors may also elect to have us provide reminders at renewal time to ensure that the registered name continues to be protected. Whether the business chooses to create a website now or at some future date, this domain name remains the property of the business that registered it. As business on the web explodes, protecting a domain name early is critical.
